Just found out a pal of mine committed suicide on Tuesday. It’s incredible that you can think you know a person, but really you know nothing at all. To me he had it all going for him and I looked at his position with envy, he was a published writer with Vogue and recently had begun working at Elle. I’d known him since primary school but recently via Twitter we became acquainted again and he offered to show me around the Elle offices in London, unfortunately we never got round to meeting up. A very good friend, a good writer and a good man. RIP James
